The Chinese manufacturer revealed its new strategy for the next decade and officially announced the arrival in Chile of its Ora and Tank product lines.
Great Wall Motors has announced its new brand strategy, which will guide its guidelines for the next decade, one of the main novelties being the fact that its entire product offering will be concentrated under a single major brand: GWM (Great Wall Motors).
This major brand will focus on the concept “Create Your Future”, which seeks to create new ways of building the future so that it is more sustainable, intelligent, secure and connected. It is for this reason that it is focusing heavily on strengthening its technology and new energies, in order to satisfy the demand of global users for cleaner mobility.
This new strategy also predicts that by 2024, the entire range of new energy products will be equipped with electric four-wheel drive technology.
“This new strategy is not just a change of logo, it is a change of philosophy that involves new products and services, entirely focused on people,” explained Fernando Maldonado, director of Great Wall Motors Chile. To which he added “and as part of this philosophy, we are happy to announce the upcoming launch of our Tank and Ora lines. The first specialized in high-end off-road SUVs and the second in 100% electric vehicles, with which we will continue to expand our offer in the country and offer different solutions for the diverse transport needs of our customers .
Great Wall Motors will be the major brand and will have four sub-brands which are as follows:
- Poeur: will take Great Wall’s place as truck specialist
- Haval: specialist in conventional SUVs
- Reservoir: Specialist in SUVs with a more off-road and high-end profile
- Pray: focused on 100% electric vehicles
These last two product ranges have been announced as the next arrivals in the country, whose debut is planned for December 2023 with the arrival of the Tank 300, although the marketing of Ora with the 03 GT will begin during the first quarter 2024.
