Before that, there will come a new generation of the Ypsilon, the only survivor of all the years of suffering of the Italian brand.
The new Lancia Ypsilon will hit the streets at the beginning of 2024, as confirmed by the firm through a teaser, which shows us a first glimpse of the model, which will bet on the quality and interior style that it offers as well as others models of the brand. to offer.
To do this, Lancia has partnered with Cassina, a famous Italian interior design brand, with which it will present the Lancia Ypsilon Edizione Limitata Cassina, a very special edition limited to only 1,906 copies, all equipped with a system 100% electric propulsion, and which celebrate the 117 years of creation of the brand.
This first advance will be revealed in February and, a little later, they will launch the Ypsilon for the whole world, which, in addition to the “zero emissions” variant, will offer versions with combustion mechanics.
What the first teaser shows is the “tavolino”, the table which will occupy the location of part of the central tunnel, and which bears the seal of the Italian firm.
And what about its exterior? For now, we still have to settle for the car covered by Cassina CEO Luca Fuso and Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano. Anyway, Napolitano has announced that the new Ypsilon will feature a simple, elegant and very Italian design, with a bet on this inspiration of luxury furniture and Italian design with a retro touch that will recall the classic models of the brand .
