For Corinna Karner (26) from Wolfsberg and Marcell Polanc (30) from Neuhaus/Suha, it was love at first sight in June 2018. At that time, they both spent their holidays independently of each other with friends in Croatia. The bride turns and looks: “We fell in love there.” The two started living together in 2021, and a year ago the civil engineer wanted to marry his chosen one in the moonlight in Croatia. The teacher, who took his wife’s surname, said, “We met by the sea, got engaged by the sea, and got married by the sea.”

The two got married at the registry office in Wolfsberg on 19 October. “Then we went directly to Mauritius by plane,” says the couple, who got married in a barefoot ceremony on the beach in the island state in the Indian Ocean. “It was so beautiful and amazing. “The memories we create will stay with us forever,” said the young couple.
