In June this year, Julia Wastian (21) released her first German single “Hauptgewinn” under the stage name Julia Steen, which she also presented as the opening act of “Starnacht am Wörthersee”. The 21-year-old artist will go on tour in Germany in December in support of Lower Austrian Austropop star Vanessa Dulhofer (18), who performs under the stage name Ness. The two met through their participation in “Starmania 21”. “I will be giving a concert with free admission at the Advent market in Völkermarkt on December 16 at 17:00,” said Wastian.

A tribute to his grandmother

The young artist will release his next single “Haus im Nelkenweg” on all common platforms on November 24 before going on tour in Germany. The song describes his childhood memories. “The song is a tribute to my grandmother. I remember him and where he lived. “It was the place where the whole family came together and had a lot of experiences,” says the singer, who has been pursuing a music career for a decade. At the age of 14, she joined the cast of “The Voice Kids” in Germany and joined Nena’s team, who accompanied her on her “Nothing Missed” tour at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. “I combine German pop and country music in my new song,” says the 21-year-old artist.

In addition to his musical career, Brückler also studies media and communication sciences. “I’m currently studying for a master’s degree,” says Wastian, who wants to make an album at some point. “When the time is right. But my biggest goal is to play live more. I hope I can do this more often in the future.”
