The popular actor, known for his role as Superman, has confirmed that the third season, which will premiere in the summer of 2023, will be his last.

The good news is that the company has confirmed that there will be a fourth season (so far only a third were confirmed for summer 2023), the bad news is that Henry Cavill (Iron man) will not return as Geralt of Rivia for her.

“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been full of monsters and adventures, although I will be retiring my medallion and swords for season four.“, Cavill commented in an official statement. “In my absence, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will take on the role of the White Wolf. Liam, this character has wonderful depth, have fun immersing yourself in it.”
For his part, Hemsworth had this to say: “as a fan of the witcher I’m in a cloud right now for the opportunity to play Geralt de Riv. Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt and I’m honored to have him hand over the reins to me and allow me to wield the swords of the White Wolf for the next chapter of his adventure.”
