Dungeons & Dragons movie captures the spirit of roleplaying

Directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley commented on the development of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Rebels. The feature film is based on the famous RPG game Dungeons & Dragonswhich was adapted into a cartoon and a film in 2001.

Honor Among Rebels puts an enchanting thief and his group in search of a dangerous artifact and thus prevent the end of the world. The cast includes Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis It is Hugh Grant.

According to Screen Rant, in an interview with IGN, the directors talked about capturing the spirit of D&D, while also pleasing the game’s longtime fans, as well as being understandable to those unfamiliar with this vast universe. Goldstein said:

“John and I really set out to make a movie that captured the spirit of playing a DnD game.”

Directors said the film will please RPG players while being understandable to those who have never played.
