Xbox will no longer accept unofficial accessories on its consoles as we recently experienced.

The information was revealed after several users started receiving a message on their consoles – Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – when connecting accessories made by third parties.

The message in this way indicates that “a connected accessory is not authorized”, while adding that heCompatibility with these types of devices will end on November 12.

This way, error 0x82d60002 will appear when an unofficial controller is connected.

The message also redirects to the list of authorized accessories, which are mainly official Xbox controllers, as well as collaborations with brands like Razer 8BitDo, PowerA and Recon.
