Everything seems to indicate that Electronic Arts is working in a new football game, but this time with cards.
Although some might think this already exists through Ultimate Team, this game would be completely different since it would be a card game as such, that is, like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic: The Gathering.
The information comes from a recent corporate patent (Via GameRant ) where you can see what the board and players would look like with their cards.
According to the report, it would be a game for mobile devices that would contain cards of different football players from around the world. Players would build their own decks with different types of cards to compete online.
According to the patent, the cards would be identified as Athlete, Action, and Effect cards, although it is unclear how each of these would work.
At the moment we do not know any further details about this game, although everything seems to indicate that it would work in the same way as other card games available for mobile devices.
