Analysis: Vojta Dyk is increasingly against occupied Ukraine, even soft words do not hide it

Previous Following

Vojtěch Dyk is a talented actor and singer, there is no doubt about that. He also felt that he had something to offer the public in terms of words, and in the last interview he showed himself by receiving overwhelming criticism for words that appeal to the imaginary ear of propaganda Russian. Some defend him, but it’s more a matter of misunderstanding his other statements, which he took issue with a long time ago.

Vojtěch Dyk: He hides his eyes from the truth

The artist Vojtěch Dyk gave Podcast by Čestmír Strakatý to reveal that he is bothered by images of war. He wants his peace of mind to spread love and positivity, and watching footage of the unprecedented rampage of Russian killers in Ukraine is disturbing his circles.

Criticism that the media talks too much about war conflictssome interpreted that viewers might be fascinated by the brutal images of corpses and become desensitized to them, thus defending Dyke as actually being right.

But in light of his previous statements, I see more turning a blind eye to reality, calling for the media to be silenced or censored and that “war is ugly, it bothers me, I don’t want to know anything!”

Against flying flags

That he is bothered by the display of Ukrainian flags as a sign of solidarity with the attacked state is not surprising. That’s how he is. Maybe he gives half his income to charity, but it seems to me that solidarity is a dirty word for him .

I will never understand how anyone can be bothered by hanging flags, no one will explain their opinion to me. There is no logic beyond simple hatred.

Openly against Ukraine

Anyone who has only seen this latest interview with Vojtěch Dyk could almost say that he “doesn’t even mean it badly”. But that would be a serious mistake.

It is good to remember his interview for Projector in which he said for example in June, how Ukrainians take jobs from Czechs (stupidity and ignorance: they are doing a job that we locals despise) and called Volodymyr Zelensky a psychopath, even though he is the president of a country desperately resisting the murderous occupation of totalitarian Russia.

He basically put him on par with Vladimir Putin, which he is the direction that Russian propaganda likes . She does not want us to love Russia itself. Just look down on Ukrainians and their representatives like Dyk.

if(false){$(“.videoasset-regular”).remove();}
else{$(“.videoasset-seznam”).remove();}

I’m not saying that Vojtěch Dyk is a “sorry pro-Russian” (maybe he is, maybe he isn’t), maybe he is simply expressing, without it namely, opinions that suit the fascists in the Kremlin.

And he is close, in terms of opinion, to declared fans of the Putin regime, such as Ivan Vyskočil. And that’s enough to say it.
