Netflix actors join cast of BBC thriller

Archie Renaux AND Ruby Stokesknown for their roles in Shadow and bones AND Lockwood & Co.both from Netflixhave been confirmed as cast members of the upcoming thriller BBC titled The pier.

The actors will come together Jenna Colemannknown for her role in Victoryin the series that promises to fascinate the viewer with a plot full of mystery and suspense.

The plot of The Jetty

The pier tells the story of Ember Manning, a rookie detective played by the talented Jenna Coleman. The plot unfolds when a holiday home, located in a quiet lakeside town in Lancashire, is engulfed in flames.

At the same time, a journalist is investigating a missing person case for a podcast, while a man in his early twenties is having an illicit relationship with two underage girls.

As Ember Manning delves into her investigation into the fire, she discovers that all of these seemingly unrelated events are interconnected.

The thriller promises to keep viewers engaged and surprised with every twist and turn, as the truth behind the events threatens to destroy Manning’s life.

Ember Manning will be forced to reevaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present, and the city she’s always called home.

This personal challenge puts the rookie detective in an even more difficult situation, as she must balance solving the case with protecting her own emotional stability.

Production and direction

According to Varietythe series will be directed by Marialy Rivasknown for her work in Young wild man AND Princessand produced by jones cat, Elizabeth Kilgarriff, Sarah Wyatt, Marialy Rivas, Jenna Colemann AND Jo McClellan. The program will be divided into four parts.
