The series Ms. Marvel not only did it tell a new origin story for Kamala Khan, but it also kicked off the arrival of mutants in the MCU.
However, according to the comic books, Iman Vellani revealed in an interview with the Phase Zero podcast that the word “mutation” was almost not part of the final scene of the series.
“The hardest part was during the filming. First, I couldn’t control myself. Every time Matt Lintz said “mutation” – which still makes me dizzy every time I say that word – I broke down. They even covered it first so I could hear it over and over again, so when the camera turned towards me I was normal. It did not work“.
“And it was one of the last things we shot, and it was night in Atlanta. It had a certain vibe, you know? It was very nice. But again, we didn’t know if it would be successful. I think that was the most annoying thing about filming, because it was really beautiful and I had so much fun, and I just wanted people to see my enthusiasm for it. And what an honor, you know, to use that M-word for the first time in the MCU. So I’m really happy that I figured it out“.
Will Ms. Marvel have a second season?

Although Kamala Khan is present in the film The wondersTHE Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed the second season of Ms. Marvel.
Vellani said that the new episodes of the series would have a lot of potential, especially after Kamala’s journey in The Marvels.
“It would be fun to see Kamala post-Marvels after fighting her idol. She is similar to what Spider-Man experienced after fighting the Avengers in Civil War and returning to his friendly neighborhood.
