The Boys has material for several spin-offs
After the success of The boysPrime Video launched two spin-offs, the cartoon Diabolical and the series Gen V.
Producer Pavun Shetty commented on this in an interview with Comic Book The boys has material for several spin-off programs.
“We’re lucky that fans love the series so much and that there’s real anticipation for Generation Five, and there are a lot of characters to build around. There are a lot of different areas of comics across all time periods that we could really capitalize on. But I think the most important thing for us is to be really diligent and thoughtful about what we do next.“
Shetty reiterated that he doesn’t want to make a series without a goal, as he thinks the audience will understand that there is no reason for such a show to exist. Furthermore, in order for a spin-off to happen, she believes that she has a connection to the main series.
