Besides not renewing Willow for the second season, the disney recently announced that the series will no longer be part of the catalog of disney+. This has disappointed not only the fans, but also those who work on the series.
Second comic bookthe screenwriter Jonathan Kasdan shared a message venting about retiring Willow from the Disney+ catalogue.
“I’ve been quiet on this news that Willow is leaving Disney+ because… I kind of agree. I grew up in an age where movies [da Disney] they were periodically re-released and unavailable to own, and that made them…more special.
“I worry about many things… but NONE of them are that Willow will never be available again, both in [Disney+] or maybe…somewhere else, you never know where it might lead…strange things have been happening. So grateful for all the love and enthusiasm; it’s really what keeps these worlds alive.
