Filming of the second season of The Night Agent begins, see the first image

The long-awaited second season of the series The night agent (The night agentin the original), has entered production and some information on the new plot and cast has already been released.

The first image released for the Netflix of the production shows the actor Gabriele Basso as Agent Peter Sutherland. The publication says: The Night Agent is back in production for season two!”

The new season of The night agent will be filmed in several locations, primarily in New York, but will also feature additional scenes shot in Washington DC and Thailand.

Unlike the first season, which was based on the book by Matthew Quirk, the second season has an original plot, leaving fans curious about the direction the story will take.

In addition to the return of Gabriel Basso as Agent Peter Sutherland, the second season will also feature Luciane Buchanan reprising his role as Rosa Larkin.

In addition to them, new actors join the cast, including Amanda Warren, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Brittany Snow AND Teddy Sears. However, no details have yet been released about the characters these actors will play.

The first season of The night agent was created by Shawn Ryan and was a huge success, becoming the most-watched series on the platform in the first half of 2023.

As production begins on the second season, the expectation is that the series will continue to win over audiences and maintain the high level of quality previously presented.

The show has accumulated approximately 515.57 million hours watched on Netflix. On IMDb the series has a score of 7.6/10, while on Rotten Tomatoes it has obtained 76% approval from the public and 80% approval from critics.
