There was great outrage when Justice Minister Alma Zadic (Greens) presented a law formulated solely for women in the summer. Women shareholders, women employees and what rules apply in flexible companies were discussed. ÖVP and FPÖ were outraged that the statement excluded men. A criticism that could cost women a tired smile. They are expected to appear in all other legal texts. It is also inadequate to interpret Zadic’s symbolic gesture as a turning point in equality. A legal female generic will not improve the reality of life for any woman in the country.
