Wig moment: Maximiliano Falcón extended his contract with Colo Colo until 2025

The defender will sign this week to stay at the club for two more years.

The Uruguayan defender has reached an agreement with Blanco y Negro to continue for two more years in Colo Colo.

Despite having several offers from other teams, the player chose to stay, because “he is the undisputed starter and the best defender in Chile. He had many opportunities from Brazil, Mexico, from two great ones from Uruguay, but we have to respect the contract and the team that gave us the push, so we are very happy”, commented Peluca’s agent Gerardo Arias, speaking to Externally .

“We are closing. Daniel Morón and the people of Colo Colo are very good, and Maxi is signing in the next few days. We coordinated because there is a very good predisposition with Morón at the helm and there are two more years, so there is Maxi Falcón for a while”, he said.

In the news, the defender will be part of the white team until December 2025, good news for Gustavo Quinteros, especially after the problem with Emiliano Amor and his possible absence for the first part of the National Championship.

After his arrival in 2020, the player has become an integral part of the team, so far having won the Copa Chile, Super Cup and National Tournament.
