In India, the first video recordings of workers who have been trapped in a collapsed highway tunnel for ten days have been released. The images came from a camera sent through a tube to the 41 men, local media reported on Tuesday. In the recordings, the trapped people can be seen wearing helmets and communicating with helpers outside via walkie-talkie.

“If you’re okay, come in front of the camera,” asks a rescuer off camera. “All of you, come on camera.” For the families of the men who were at the scene of the accident, it was a relief to see the videos, wrote the Indian Express.
