First, in the semi-finals of the qualification, Ukraine will meet with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Israel will play with Iceland. The winners of the matches will then compete against each other in March next year for one of the three remaining spots at the European Championships.
It was already clear that Poland would face Estonia in the first of three qualifying tournaments. The winner will then face the winner of the game between Wales and Finland in the final. The pairings for the third qualifying route were known even before former national player Steffen Freund’s draw: Georgia will face Luxembourg and Greece will face Kazakhstan. There is an ending here too.
In three mini-tournaments, the remaining 24 starting places will be played in the final round. The games will take place during the international matches window at the end of March. The six semi-finals will take place on March 21, 2024, with the three finals taking place five days later.
