Two matches in the Bundesliga were canceled due to heavy snowfall

Two matches in the Bundesliga on Saturday, WSG Tirol against Rapid and Red Bull Salzburg against Wolfsberger AC, were canceled due to “heavy snowfall” and “unplayable pitch”. The league announced this after the preliminary commissioning of facilities in Innsbruck and Salzburg. Capture dates for the two matches in the round of 16 are currently being evaluated and will be communicated immediately.

This means that probably only Austria Klagenfurt (5th) will be played on Saturday (17.00) against TSV Hartberg (4th). While Klagenfurt was spared from heavy snowfall, it rained only in the state’s capital, Carinthia. For this reason, the grass of the Wörthersee Arena is wet, and after the preliminary selection, the final decision will be made at 15:00. Based on the APA investigation, the club assumes the match will be played.

There were also two cancellations in the 2nd league. The match between Vienna and Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz (14.30) cannot be played on Saturday, and the duel between Ried and Floridsdorfer AC scheduled for Sunday (10.30) also had to be postponed.
