After attempts of 104 and 92.5 meters, Craft once again surpassed all opponents. For him, success on the regular hill was his third victory in the third competition. Behind Power And Wellinger Daniel Tschofenig of Austria completed the podium. On Sunday there will be another jump, then up a big hill.

Behind Wellinger is Karl Geiger (4th), Pius Paschke (6.) and Stefan Leyhe (9th place) Best places. National coach Stefan Horngacher’s team started the winter confidently. “Second place after Kraft, nothing more is possible at the moment. I am very pleased,” Horngacher said on ZDF. Last week in Finland, Ruka Paschke, Wellinger and Leihe each made it to the podium once. Philipp Raimund (20th place) and Martin Hamann (26th place) were slightly behind.

A dominant world-class athlete, Kraft appears unbeatable at the moment. There are just under four weeks left until the start of the prestigious Four Hills Tournament with stops in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen. Germany have not achieved an outright victory in this traditional competition since Sven Hannawald in the 2001/02 season.
