Milan finished third in their Champions League group and will play in the Europa League

In Wednesday’s matches in the final round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Milan won 2-1 against Newcastle but failed to advance to the round of 16. Indeed, they finish group F in third place and will therefore participate in the Europa League, the second continental football tournament. Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain are both qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
