Fatal traffic accident: Biker died at the scene of the accident

The accident happened on Friday around 4 p.m.: A 28-year-old man from the Weiz district drove his car off the A2 at the Gleisdorf-West exit and wanted to turn left at the intersection of the Autobahn exit with Gleisdorfer Straße B65 towards the roundabout Turn off at Ludersdorf. At the same time, a 42-year-old from the Weiz district was driving his motorcycle from the Ludersdorf roundabout on the B65 in the direction of Gleisdorf. According to witnesses, he overtook several cars in front of him.

When the car driver turned onto the B65, there was a side collision with the motorcyclist who was approaching in his lane. The 42-year-old suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver of the car was taken to the LKH Weiz by the rescue service with minor injuries, where he received outpatient treatment.
