A man (74) from the Klagenfurt district was in an orchard in the Klagenfurt district on Monday afternoon to carry out tree pruning work. He is believed to have fallen from an aluminum ladder around 5.30 p.m. from a height of around two meters to the ground. The 74-year-old was able to notify his daughter, who then set the rescue chain in motion. The pensioner was flown from the C11 helicopter to Klagenfurt Hospital with spinal injuries of an unspecified degree.
