This year’s edition of E3, the world’s largest video game trade show, has been canceled

Was canceled the Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, the world’s largest trade show for the video game industry: it should have taken place in June, after the cancellation of the 2020 and 2022 editions due to the pandemic and that of 2021 it was organized without an audience, but the organizers announced that it will not take place. News of the cancellation came after some of the major games companies – such as Microsoft, Nintendo, PlayStation and Ubisoft – announced they would not be attending the event. Officially, however, the organizers didn’t say that was the cause of the cancellation, and provided rather vague reasons.

E3 has been around since 1995 and was held in Los Angeles, California every year until 2019, when 66,000 people attended. For the past decade, it has been the main event used by developers and publishers in the industry to showcase their upcoming products to the public.
