The bill was approved by the Senate this Wednesday (29) that modifies the definitions regarding who tampers with the vehicle chassis, among other modifications in vehicle identifiers.
Penalties for those who modify chassis are stricter
Through a vote this Wednesday, the senate extended the criminal framework to anyone caught tampering with the chassis or any other vehicle identifier.
The proposal that now goes to presidential sanction had Senator Carlos Portinho (PL-RJ) as its rapporteur.
