With a curious breakfast and photos with penguins: end of Boric’s visit to Antarctica

The President arrived on the continent last Thursday with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to denounce the effects of climate change and global warming.

During his last day of visit to Antarctica, President Gabriel Boric shared various postcards on his social networks. Among them, his breakfast this morning which consisted of a choripán accompanied by banana milk, a traditional dish from Kiosco Roca located in Punta Arenas and photographs taken hours before with penguins.

Before the curious breakfast, the President shared a photograph of the sunrise on the white continent . The image was taken before departure for Punta Arenas, at 4:47 a.m. from the Frei base.

A few hours earlier, the head of state had reposted a photo in which we see him very close to penguins.

“It is from there that we wanted, with the UN Secretary General, to tell the world the importance of focusing our efforts on the fight against the climate crisis. that as humanity we have developed, especially the most developed countries, by emitting greenhouse gases,” Boric said in a video shared via X.
