According to the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Timoshenko, three explosions took place in the capital of Ukraine.
“Kyiv. Three explosions at energy infrastructure facilities”he wrote in the Telegram channel.
Information about the explosions was also confirmed by the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko.
Earlier it was reported that in Kharkov, as a result of morning explosions, the subway stopped working. Explosions were reported in Krivoy Rog and Dnipro.

Later it was reported that explosions were also heard in Lvov. An air alert was declared throughout Ukraine.
At a press conference in Astana on October 15, Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Defense Ministry had not hit seven more targets in Ukraine out of 29 planned. And on October 17, it became known that the Russian military continued to strike at military command and control facilities and the energy system of Ukraine. The Ukrainian media reported on powerful explosions in the center of Kyiv. It was also reported that the air alert was again announced in the Kyiv region. According to a number of media reports, the alarm was also sounded in the Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Nikolaev and Odessa regions. Later, two new explosions were reported in Kyiv in the Shevchenko district and strikes on critical infrastructure.
