Stephen King promised to retire from Twitter if Elon Musk makes verification paid.

Musk offered Stephen King a discount on Twitter

The writer criticized the billionaire’s idea to charge users $20 a month for a blue tick, a sign that the account has been verified and the person actually owns it.

Musk justifies himself by saying that this money is needed to pay bills. He immediately reacted to the words of the writer and offered King a discount – to reduce the payment to eight dollars, though so far only to him.

Previously, Musk dissolved the board of directors of Twitter and appointed himself the sole head of the company. But with the proviso that this is temporary.
