The American company Apple plans to move part of its production from China. This is reported Wall Street Journal.

Sources of the publication noted that Apple is asking suppliers to actively plan the assembly of its products in other Asian countries. Preference should be given to India and Vietnam. In addition, the corporation is trying to reduce its dependence on Taiwanese assemblers, led by Foxconn Technology Group.

Apple came to this decision because of the November rallies of workers in one of the largest factories in Zhengzhou, where the iPhone is produced. The company accounted for 85% of the iPhone Pro line.

It is not yet clear when Apple will completely get rid of the dependence of the Zhengzhou plant. The corporation can attract more assemblers from other companies, even if they are located in China. The Wall Street Journal claims that Apple’s choice could fall on Luxshare Precision Industry Co. and Wingtech Technology Co.
