Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba said he had discussed with his “European colleague” the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv
The EU is discussing the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. He wrote about this on his Facebook page*.
An entry appeared on Kuleba’s page with a quote from an alleged dialogue with an unnamed “European colleague”.
“- Now F16? – Yes. – I’m taking it to work, friend. That’s what I just got questions from a European colleague about,” – wrote Kuleba.
European countries continue to pump weapons to Ukraine. On January 24, it became known that Norway was going to send eight Leopard tanks to Ukraine. On the same day, the German magazine Spiegel published an article in which it claims that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had decided to supply Leopard 2А6 vehicles to Ukraine.
Earlier, France announced the transfer of AMX-10 RC armored vehicles to Ukraine, and Germany promised to supply 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles. Poland, in turn, was going to transfer a company of Leopard tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Britain officially announced the delivery of Challenger tanks to Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stressed that any shipments of weapons supplied to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Moscow also stated that military assistance to Ukraine only prolongs the conflict and threatens to turn into a head-on collision between Russia and NATO, which the Kyiv regime is trying to achieve.
