The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) is provoking Russian fighters in the area of responsibility of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Luhansk direction. Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko announced this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“In the zone of responsibility of the 2nd Army Corps of the RF Ministry of Defense, a new enemy tactic is noted, aimed at provoking our units,” he noted.

Marochko clarified that the enemy is advancing towards the Russian positions in small maneuverable groups, after which he makes himself visible. When fire is opened on them, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine immediately go into cover.

The interlocutor of the agency believes that such tactics are aimed at increasing the idle consumption of ammunition by the units.
