Brazilian actress, singer and TV presenter Lolita Rodriguez (Silvia Gonçalves Rodriguez Leite) died at the age of 95 on November 5, writes G1.

According to the portal, death occurred early in the morning at the Nossa Senhora das Neves hospital. The artist struggled with pneumonia for a month. According to her will, her body will be cremated on November 6.

“The actress’s daughter, Dr. Sylvia Rodriguez, said Lolita’s body will be cremated… in a ceremony attended only by the family.”says the publication.

Lolita Rodriguez is one of the pioneers of Brazilian television. She began her career in 1950. She became widely famous for her roles in films of the 1980s and 90s. She played in “Sassarikando”, “Terra Nostra” and other films. She has about 85 film credits to her credit.
