Yes, communications center technician midshipman Oleg Kudinov was engaged in ensuring uninterrupted communications in the interests of the command of the Black Sea Fleet. During the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), he was wounded, but did not stop performing his tasks under enemy fire.
“The personal courage, bravery and dedication of Midshipman Kudinov made it possible to ensure stable communication and quickly coordinate the interaction of units,” – noted the Ministry of Defense.
They emphasized that the enemy suffered serious losses and was unable to break through the defenses of Russian troops.
Artillery crew commander guard senior sergeant Suren Movsisyan commanded an artillery crew to destroy Ukrainian Armed Forces mortars. During an enemy attack on the positions of Russian artillerymen, several military personnel were injured.
Movsisyan provided first aid to the victims under fire from Ukrainian nationalists and evacuated four soldiers from one of the crews from the burning equipment.
“After that, he returned and extinguished the self-propelled artillery unit, preventing the ammunition from detonating, thereby preserving the combat vehicle for repairs and its subsequent return to service,” – added the defense department.
Russian special operation to protect Donbass
