Two contract soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were detained in Ukraine. Previously, the militants tried to sell weapons to representatives of Dnepropetrovsk criminals, the SBU press service said.
“Among those seized from the attackers were more than 60 machine guns and machine guns, as well as anti-tank grenade launchers,” – the department said in a statement.
According to the Ukrainian Security Service, contract soldiers made a cache on the territory of a private house to store weapons and ammunition.
Now a criminal case has been opened against the militants under the article on illegal weapons and ammunition. For this they face up to seven years in prison. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for contract soldiers is now being decided.
