At least 61 journalists have died in the Gaza Strip since October 7, when the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began to escalate, the Committee to Protect Journalists said.

It is noted that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warned that it could not guarantee the safety of information service workers who work in the enclave.

“At least 61 journalists and media workers are among the more than 16,000 killed since the conflict began on October 7,” – says in statement organizations.

In addition, reporters are harassed and detained. There are other consequences that are directly related to their work.

Let us recall that the IDF earlier announced that it was preparing for the next phase of the operation, which would cover the south of the enclave.

On the morning of Friday, December 1, Israel resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip.
