A reward has been awarded for the capture of a criminal who wounded police officers in Poland.

Two police officers were seriously injured in the Polish city of Wroclaw, and a search is underway for the shooter, local police said on Saturday, December 2.

“On the night from Friday to Saturday, two policemen were wounded by firearms. They were taken to the hospital, their condition is very serious.”,” follows from the message.

The suspect in this crime is a resident of Poland, Maximilian Fasciszewski, who has already been put on the wanted list. Law enforcement agencies have distributed his photograph and are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch.

For assistance in his capture, the Chief Commandant of the Polish Police appointed a reward of 100 thousand zlotys (about $25 thousand).

According to unofficial sources, the incident occurred while law enforcement officers were transporting a suspect to serve a sentence of six months in prison.

The day before, a shootout with police took place in the Polish city of Pszczyna, Silesian Voivodeship. According to local police, law enforcement officers responded to the call, but when the attacker saw them, he opened fire.
