Pope Francis’ recovery continues

It looks like Pope Francis is still on the road to recovery following his lung infection. The Vatican press office announced this via the Telegram channel on Saturday. It was stated that the 86-year-old man no longer has fever, but his treatment continues.

To prevent his recovery from being jeopardized by temperature fluctuations, the Pope will perform the noon prayer on Sunday at his home in Santa Marta. As was the case last Sunday, the program called Angelus will be broadcast via video link.

According to Francis, the switch between heating and air conditioning was also why his doctors advised him not to attend the world climate summit in Dubai. Francis was supposed to be the first pope to speak there this Saturday. Instead, Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin read the speech.
