Steve Yeun will no longer be part of the Marvel Studios universe

The actor was going to play The Sentry in the Thunderbolts movie.

The actor Steven Yeun became famous for his role in The Walking Deadand who was nominated for an Oscar for his work on the film Minariwill no longer be part of the Marvel Studios Universe.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Yeun canceled his participation in the film Love at first sight the team which in the comics is made up of redeemed villains and which in the films would focus on antiheroes like Bucky Barnes, US Agent, Yelena Belova and Red Guardian, as well as villains like Taskmaster and Ghost, among others.

Filming on the film is set to begin in the coming months, so Yeun’s departure will involve a quick search for a replacement. Furthermore, the report indicates that the actor’s departure was finalized due to the modification of the start of filming following the strikes.

Note that previously, the writer Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead and who works with Yeun in the animated series Invinciblerevealed that the actor would play Sentinel .
