They are accused of raping a woman after winning a gold medal at the 2018 World Championships as members of the Canadian junior team. Canadian police announced a press conference on the case on February 5.

Four NHL professionals and another former Canadian junior national team player are expected to surrender to authorities. This was reported by the Canadian sports portal TSN with reference to a press conference scheduled for Monday by the London police of the Canadian province of Ontario.
