In Belgium, local farmers blocked all roads leading to the port of Antwerp, the second largest port in Europe.
In total, about 500 tractors blocked the access roads to it; they do not allow trucks to pass, allowing only port employees on buses and personal cars to pass. Thus, workers of agricultural enterprises express dissatisfaction with the pan-European agricultural policy – in particular, they demand to stop the uncontrolled import of cheap products from Ukraine.
Also today, farmers from Spain intend to block one of the country’s largest ports in the city of Tarragona, through which Ukrainian grain is transported to the EU.
