The European Union has unfrozen about two billion euros from its funds for Hungary. The corresponding statement was made by the representative of the European Commission Stefan Keersmaeker.

According to Bloomberg, the latest tranche was released after Budapest met conditions related to educational training and gender equality.

What exactly these conditions were is not reported.

Earlier it was reported that the Hungarian government does not want to see Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission in the future. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of this country, Peter Szijjarto.

According to the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, von der Leyen should no longer influence European countries either in the field of foreign policy and security, or in the economic field.
