American institutions can no longer adapt to changing circumstances; the country is currently experiencing the culmination of a major crisis, stated Financial Times philosopher, economist and political scientist Francis Fukuyama.

According to him, the possible re-election of former US President Donald Trump could lead to a “decisive end” of American support for Kyiv. Fukuyama noted that because of the “hard-headedness” of Republicans, the United States needs electoral reform.

“Democrats have a lot of work to do to wake people up to the magnitude of the problem the country faces.”Fukuyama added.

Earlier, Trump said that American leader Joe Biden is destroying the state by allowing prisoners and people from insane asylums to enter the United States illegally.
