Three meter high tsunami expected in Japan after earthquake

A tsunami threat has been issued in the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa after an earthquake occurred nearby. This was reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

According to the agency, a magnitude 7.5 earthquake occurred in the ocean near Taiwan. This caused the tsunami.

A wave up to three meters high is expected to reach the southwestern coast of Japan around 10 a.m. (04:00 Moscow time).
