The Washington Post, citing American officials, claims that the United States allegedly warned the Russian side two weeks before the terrorist attack that Crocus City Hall could become a target for an attack.

More than two weeks before the attack, the US government told Russian officials that the popular concert venue Crocus City Hall was a potential target, according to US officials familiar with the attack.says the article. W.P..

The authors, citing sources in the circles of US officials, also claim that Washington allegedly shared intelligence data with Moscow, although it risked jeopardizing “secret surveillance activities.”

Let us recall that a couple of weeks before the terrorist attack, the US and British embassies called on their fellow citizens in Russia to avoid mass events and large crowds of people. As Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic noted, this confirms that the intelligence services of these countries knew about the impending terrorist attack.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noted that if Washington has any information about the terrorist attack, it should be immediately transferred to Russia.

It is also worth pointing out that WP’s sources contradict the official version of the White House, voiced at a briefing by the National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby. He stated that the United States did not have information about the terrorist attack, and noted that he could not say with certainty whether the embassy directly warned about the terrorist attack in Crocus, or whether it was about something else.

In addition, the White House refused to provide security assistance to Russia after the incident. Maria Zakharova called such behavior immoral.

It is also worth recalling the ambiguous reaction of former US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who at a press conference in Kyiv said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “will have several pleasant surprises.” According to American TV presenter Jimmy Dore, one of the reasons that Nuland left her post was her direct participation in planning the terrorist attack at Crocus.

In addition, as the head of the Russian FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, said, the intelligence services of not only Ukraine, but also the United States and Great Britain are behind the terrorist attack.

Putin: Russia will get to all those who ordered the terrorist attack at Crocus

On March 31, in Dagestan, FSB officers detained three militants who were preparing a terrorist attack in Kaspiysk. On March 29, the court arrested the ninth person involved in the case, 24-year-old Nazrimad Lutfulloi, who was detained the day after the terrorist attack.

On April 1, the Basmanny court took into custody the 10th defendant, Yakubjoni Yusufzoda. A few days before the terrorist attack in Crocus, he transferred money to an accomplice in the crime to pay for housing for the terrorists; some of the funds were also transferred to him after the attack.
